Financial Aid

Financial Aid Policy

We are committed to making excellent education accessible by offering financial aid. Applying for aid has no bearing on our admissions decisions. We expect parents to give their children’s RCS education a very high priority in their financial planning and to consider all family resources and assets (including possible help from such sources as stepparents and grandparents) seriously before applying for financial aid.  Parents/guardians of students receiving assistance are required to re-apply each year. Applications for re-enrolling students will open on January 1st for the upcoming school year.

For separated or divorced parents/guardians, financial information must also be provided by the non-custodial parent/guardian. These cases are individually evaluated. Financial information of stepparents and other adult supporters of the student’s household will be required.  All application forms, tax information and other related papers are held in strictest confidence. Financial aid awards for returning students will not be considered if the current year’s account is in arrears.

  • Children's Scholarship Fund

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) is a privately-funded program whose mission is to provide children from under-resourced Philadelphia families with financial access to quality, safe, K-8th grade, tuition-based schools, thereby increasing their long-term economic and social success. CSFP grants need-based, partial scholarships through a random lottery. CSFP currently serves more than 5,000 children enrolled at over 160 private and parochial schools.

  • Children's Jubilee Fund

Children’s Jubilee Fund (Jubilee) was established in 1997 to provide K-12 scholarships to city-dwelling, lower-income students in order for them to attend Christian schools. In many cases, the neighborhood public schools these students would otherwise attend have been designated low-performing by the state.
