About us/Our Story

Roxborough Christian School (RCS) began with a group of dedicated parents who envisioned an affordable, local school that nurtures the whole student—mind, body, and soul. They saw a growing trend of families leaving the neighborhood once their children reached school age, and dreamed of creating a faith-based alternative that would allow families to stay rooted in their community.

With a focus on small class sizes, individualized learning, and a strong partnership between teachers and families, RCS opened its doors in the fall of 2015 with just five kindergarteners. Since then, the school has grown into a thriving Pre-K through 5th grade elementary program, with a staff of 15 and a student body of over 50.

At RCS, we are committed to fostering a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where each child is known, valued, and encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Our close-knit community remains the heart of our mission, providing a place where families support one another and children receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for a bright future.
